31 May 2015

Thank you. Again.

Projecto Justiça Gonçalo Amaral's Legal Defence account has received since April 28, 2015

- through Paypal:

€ 5643.62 (five thousand six hundred forty three euro and sixty two cents)
and
$ 90.57 (ninety dollars and fifty seven cents)

- through the GoFundMe page created by Leanne Baulch:

£ 23,910 (twenty three thousand nine hundred and ten pounds)

These amounts will be applied to cover expenses with the defence of Gonçalo Amaral, in the civil suit brought against him by the McCann family.

The appeal is being prepared by Mr Amaral's lawyers and will be filed in due time.

Once the appeal is filed, PJGA will publish a statement.

At this point, we would like to, once again, thank you for your immense support - and patience.

Our trust in Portuguese justice remains firmly in place.

Thank you.

I am absolutely delighted that the fund is doing so well, and hope that Dr Amaral will take heart from this. My great hope is still that a wealthy businessman or lottery winner will learn of the great injustice that has been done to this dedicated policeman and be moved to fund him to an extent that ordinary donors cannot possibly do.

I hope Dr Amaral was watching GoFundMe tonight, it was something special. I feel we've merely reached "base camp", in for the long haul like most and for as long as it takes. There's something else I noticed recently, the eerie silence of MSM and it gives me hope. Calling it "Leanne' legacy" - the more they spin the more we say and the more we pay.

If only I was a lottery winner... I'd be honoured to be able to help Dr Amaral. He has utmost integrity and I'm so glad the UK police have donated £1000. Very generous people. Well done, Leanne et al 😊

I do hope that Dr Amaral is fully aware of the love and support he has here in the UK. I for one will continue to contribute whatever I can to support this BRAVE man in his fight against such evil. Diane x Not to help Justice in her need is an impiety ~Plato~

This is great! It is so good that many good honest hardworking people as well as many more people on governement handouts have raised so much for this great man. I'm sure that if Sir Amaral decides not to appeal his millions of supporters will not hesitate in allowing him to have the money raised to make is retirement more comfortable. This life changing sum of money will elevate to a similar status of royality that he deserves.

God bless you Sir Amaral (King Amaral)
